Up to 30% of children with autism have untreated tooth decay.
Daily oral hygiene can be especially difficult, increasing the risk of gum disease.
Bruxism (teeth grinding) is more common and can lead to long-term dental issues.

With your support, this program will:

Gently introduce individuals to the sights, sounds, and routines of dental care.
Reduce fear and build familiarity in a safe, supportive setting.
Partner with UNE dental students to train future providers in inclusive care.
