The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center, Maine’s only Children’s Hospital is a non-profit organization benefitting from generous community support. From routine check-ups and immunizations to the treatment of life-threatening illnesses and injuries, the hospital offers comprehensive, family-centered healthcare for all of northern New England.

With 109 beds, including a 51 bed Level III NICU, it is Maine's premier referral hospital, offering services not available elsewhere in the state. Our hospital was rated the fourth safest hospital in the U.S. and our nurses were recently rated in the top 3% world-wide for nursing excellence.
