On Sunday, September 15, 2019, the Nappi Family will be hosting the 20th Annual Stefano Nappi Memorial Golf Tournament to benefit the children and families cared for at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center. Over the past 19 years, the enthusiastic and warm hearted supporters of the Stefano Nappi Memorial Golf Tournament have raised over $370,000 for The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital! We hope to see you on the course in September!

What is the Stefano Nappi Fund?

In 2000, Stefano Nappi’s family and friends created the “Stefano Nappi Fund” in memory of Stefano, and in recognition of the care he and his family received at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center.

Each year a golf tournament is held in Stefano’s name, the proceeds of which are contributed to his fund. Donations to the Stefano Nappi Fund are used to provide hospital patients, their families, and the nursing staff with support that otherwise would not be available to them while they are in the hospital, including: 10 new sleepr couches for patient rooms, meal passes for parents, and extra day of music therapy for patients EACH WEEK, warm winter clothing for a family who had just arrived in Maine, and important nursing education: 3 RN's were able to attend an out-of-state Pediatric Dialysis conference.
